A Safari extension for Mac, iPhone and iPad that stops a page taking your click.
Pop networks do not wait to be clicked. They lay a transparent layer over the page and take the next press, rewrite the link under your finger, or open a tab you never asked for. Undirect undoes those and lists everywhere a page tried to send you.
A page can cover itself to catch a press meant for something else. The layer goes before the press lands.
Some pages rewrite a link between the press and the release. The original is put back and followed.
A window opens only when the site's own code asks for it.
Each one is listed, to allow or block per site or everywhere. What is blocked everywhere becomes a content blocking rule, so the request never leaves the device.
